Biography

LARISSA TIGGELERS is a visual artist and Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Regina, on Treaty 4 lands. She holds an MFA from the University of Guelph and a BFA from the Alberta College of Art and Design. Tiggelers’ work has been exhibited at Norberg Hall (Calgary), Christie Contemporary (Toronto), Erin Stump Projects (Toronto), Galerie D’Este (Montréal), The Bakery (Vancouver), Art Gallery of Alberta (Edmonton), Dunlop Gallery (Regina) and Paniki Gallery (Batan, Philippines). Her works are included in private and public collections across Canada and internationally, including the Royal Bank of Canada, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Art Gallery of Alberta, SK Arts, and Global Affairs Canada.
